League & Cuppers

OUNC is not just about sport at the university level: we also organise leagues and annual Cuppers (inter-college) tournaments. We currently have 5 leagues running during the Michaelmas and Hilary terms and teams can include boys and girls, giving everyone a chance to shine.

In Trinity term, there is a girls-only Cuppers tournament, which in 2017 was won by St Catz, with Somerville coming in as runners up, in a tightly contested match. There is also a Mixed Cuppers tournament. This is run by the OUNC Social Secretary with the focus on having fun during the hectic summer term, accompanied by picnics and Pimms!

If commitment to the training schedule of the University squad seems too much, the college leagues and tournaments are the best way to get involved in netball. However, OUNC are always looking to bolster their ranks and actively recruit from the college leagues.

Whatever your standard, there will be netball for you at Oxford. We look forward to seeing you on court!
